Productions: Present

A bilingual Swedish/English music theater piece based on the
poetry of Tomas Tranströmer and generated by a multi-national
group of twenty artists. Premiere 2012.

A live radio opera produced in partership with Taliesin Arts Centre and
Le Chien qui chante using text of the radio play by Dylan Thomas,
music by John Metcalff. Premiere 2014.

An environmentally conscious “rap” opera, based on Norse
mythology, with instruments fashioned from recycled materials.
In collaboration with Donald Knaack, Composer/ Percussionist,
and Playwrights Workshop from Montreal.

Productions: Past

A past performance, Moo, Squeal & Scratch was a performance
art piece based on ancient Persian poetry with music by American
composers Haleh Abghari and Ben Kreith and scored for narrator,
soprano, violin, percussion and bass.

The Illumination Initiative

Companion Star's education program, rooted in the firm belief that the arts play a crucial role in shaping youngsters and developing artists, participates in communitly-based programs and in partnerships with institutions of higher learning.
