Patchogue, NY – Performing Arts Company,
Companion Star, in conjunction with The Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce, will hold
its new office's Grand Opening on Wednesday, January
11th at 6:00
pm.
Community involvement is an integral goal
for Companion Star, and this performing arts organization, recently featured in The Long
Island Advance newspaper's December 29th issue, continues to extend its roots in its
hometown.
The Grand Opening will include an official
ribbon cutting and attendance by many local luminaries, including Rob Calarco, the new
County Legislator and Assemblyman Dean Murray. A reception will immediately follow the
ceremony, which will include a variety of tasty dishes, delightful wine offerings and a
limited exhibition from Patchogue artists Jessica McAvoy, Julie Doane Roberts and Jaqueline
Duprç. Local restaurants, florists, wine vendors and
artisans have all agreed to lend their support. Award winning Pulse Magazine will also
be on hand to interview Companion Star Founder and Patchogue resident, Dr. Michael Douglas
Jones.
